4 STAGES OF FATTY LIVER

STAGE 1- SIMPLE FATTY LIVER-Where there is less fat accumulation
but this does not grow. Generally they are harmless.

STAGE 2- STEATOHEPATITSDue to excess fat, liver swells and inflammation increases

STAGE 3- FIBROSISDue to long term of swelling of liver, scaring starts
developing. This liver still functions.

STAGE 4- CIRRHOSISDue to excess of scaring, liver becomes weak and does
function properly.

TYPES OF LIVER DISEASE

ALCOHOLIC
NON-ALCOHOLIC

Alcoholic fatty liver disease increases due to increase in consumption of alcohol in large
amount.

Non-alcoholic disease increases due to obesity,
type 2 diabetes, blood pressure, high cholesterol. Though there is no specific
medicines to cure non-alcoholic fatty liver
disease but improvement in our lifestyle and
diet can cure this kind of disease.

HOME REMEDIES TO REDUCE FATTY LIVER

1- LOOSE EXCESS BODY WEIGHT

According to research, if we want to cure this disease then we should loose excess body fat.
Logic behind this is very simple. If body fat
increases after one point of time, fat starts
developing in between the organs and inside the organs. If you are reducing 10-7% of body
weight then we can reverse liver inflammation
and fibrosis. The good news is that we can
regenerate liver cells but it takes lots of time and dedication so we must make sure that we
are not having aggressive diet and we must

2-OMEGA 3 SUPPLEMENT

3-AVOID ADDED SUGAR

Avoid food sources like cakes candy and many more which is high in sugar. Here the major

find words ending with “OSE” like sucrose fructose maltose then all these are sugar.
Fruit juices, corn syrup, sugarcane juice, honey
contain high amount of sugar so avoid these in your diet.

4-AVOID LIVER IRRITANTS

Some substance like over the counter medicines, alcohol, vitamins and some
supplements can cause liver irritants. So before consuming any supplement we should consult
a doctor. We should avoid excess of red meat,
salt, alcohol and fried food.
